The Fobian Family
I thought that it might be time to start a blog, many things have happened in our lives and unless we write them down my kids will never know us when we were young and “fun” but it will also let you know what Chuck and I are up to.
Chuck and I have been married for five years now I can’t believe that the time has gone by so fast, one day you are just meeting each other staying up all night talking about nothing at all the next thing you know all you want to do is go to sleep as early as you can. Life has treated us well. I couldn’t have asked for more.
We met in Northridge California where I was playing volleyball and going to school and Chuck, well, I think he was going to school but maybe he was just trying not to have to live at his parents house so he moved in with his brother and sister-in-law in Sherman Oaks, Ca. We met at church and I will have to give the credit to Catrinia for forcing Chuck to get up the confidence to ask me out. It was St Patrick’s Day 2002 (it only took him four months to ask me). The rest is history and we were married nine months later in the Mt Timpanogos Temple which was the best day of my life so far.
We lived in California until I finished school then I told Chuck that he was moving to Utah. He was definitely unsure about that move but we both agree that it was the right thing to do at that time. We bought a condo in Lehi and I thought it was going to kill Chuck as we went through the escrow. When it was over, he said “Why was I so scared, my mortgage is cheaper than rent?” Well that inspired us to buy a house 8 months later in Daybreak (South Jordan Ut), we love it!
So that brings us to the present we have no kids so you will see a lot of us and probably the cats since they are our children (at least for now).
