Thriving Ivory Concert

Myself, Chuck, Jen and Mark went to the Thriving Ivory concert. (Chuck's second concert, first one being the Collective Soul...we didn't know any of their songs. Someday we need to go to a real concert, but we are not to adventurous so I don't know when that will happen.)
Mark was the first to get on the Thriving Ivory band wagon as they reviewed the CD on 101.9 the end. It was good and he got Jen into it, Jen told me and I liked the music also, the next thing I know, I was buying tickets to the concert. They were cheap.
That night we got the the Murry theater and were in line... Jen and I were talking and a car starts honking... all of a sudden ice is flying everywhere and Jen yells, "it hit me in the head." Well the drink did hit her but it hit Mark in the arm first and he was grateful that it was not his hurt arm that he just got surgery on. We started laughing and I took some pictures. People around us thought that we were weird to be laughing... at least we didn't let it ruin our evening.

The Concert was fun the band is just starting out but the are really good and they were surprised with the 1000 people there.

Afterward, when we got to the car, there was a ticket, we didn't see the "no parking" signs (you think we would look due to the fact that Northridge, California received a lot of our money for parking tickets) so all in all the night was not good but we didn't let the bad parts ruin the evening.

hey heather, i am so glad you posted on my blog. I totally forgot you started one. I loved the water catastrophe/joke at the concert. I think that would have sucked but i am sure I would have died too. Glad you guys have so much fun together. Keep 'a postin!
