A Time to Remember Dave March 9th

It has been a year since Dave died, the time has past so quickly. I still think of him often and how much I miss him. This picture is our last family photo it was taken at Dave's funeral. a while later when Jen was going through her pictures she found it, as you can see it has Dave in the background, this was not planned but the slide show that was playing behind us had the perfect picture. Computers Breathing

So I am sitting here reading blogs and looking on facebook, what an exciting friday night, and I lifted up the laptop and it almost burned me it was so hot. Chuck looked at me and said it is because it cant "breathe." so the blanket that was on my lap was "sufficating" it.... not..... if that is the case it should have a warning lable on it that reads "please allow to breathe- blankets or soft surfaces may cause harm"

Chuck is Sick

Chuck is sick!! so that means that I get to work really hard at making him comforatble. We all know that when we are sick we milk being served as much as possilbe so I cannot say anything about him wanting the same attention in return. So I cooked dinner, exactly what he wanted, went to the store to get him the drink that he wanted, got off the couch to get the remote that he wanted, went upstairs to get the pillow and blanket that he wanted. I cant wait to have kids i bet it gets 100 times worse and then when you are sick no one cares to get you what you want you still have to get it yourself.

I hope chuck gets better soon.

Just to update the blog

So I am posting today "just to update the blog" I don't have any new pictures to look at but just my thoughts to read. Last year was a crazy one in my life. It made me reflect on myself and what this life is all about. I really don't know how to describe how the events in the last year have changed me, all I know is that the Heather that didn't care about anything and anybody needs to change. life is too short to just always be busy with only my stuff and not reach out to others. I still haven't done very well at this but I am willing to try harder.
It is coming up on one year since my brother died and it still seams like it didn't happen. I still cry every time it comes to my mind (like right now) I don't know why it is still so raw. It just makes me sad to think about his family that is left behind and that I have one less brother here. That is the true reason why may attitude needs to change. He gave so much love and in return people loved him, if i could only be a fraction of what he was. Jen keeps telling me that I need to be more caring and I agree so I did do a few extra things to improve in this area but I can do much better. So to anyone that is reading my Blog I hope that I can be a better friend to you this coming year.
